Ryan Fedurco brings a variety of government and non-profit advocacy experience to Counsel.

A former assistant for a federal Member of Parliament, and junior analyst in the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (now Global Affairs Canada) in Ottawa, he has assisted with political and legislative affairs, managed government programs and conducted research on various pertinent policy issues. He’s also worked with a number of non-profit and charitable organizations including the United Nations Association in Canada and the World University Service of Canada to further government relations efforts and write program funding proposals.

Prior to joining Counsel, Ryan worked with World Vision Canada to advance global poverty and child well-being initiatives to the Government of Canada. He assisted both government relations and policy teams to execute public affairs efforts and campaigns.

In addition to working in government, Ryan has volunteered on municipal and federal electoral campaigns.

Ryan’s experience and strong understanding of the inner workings of government allow him to effectively analyze and research public policy issues, develop stakeholder maps, monitor current affairs, and execute special projects such as advocacy days at Legislatures.

Ryan holds both a Masters of Political Management and a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management degree from Carleton University. He is an active member of Rotaract and Rotary International and is passionate about giving back to his community.
