Grant works closely with the Counsel team to provide clients with a range of public affairs services. He brings experience supporting government relations strategy development, drafting consultation submissions, planning and managing advocacy days, stakeholder mapping, legislative and media monitoring, research, and administrative coordination.

Inspired by his experience as a Legislative Page in the Ontario Legislature, Grant pursued his passion for politics through his education, career and community service. He spent several summers interning for a senior Ontario Liberal cabinet minister, and volunteered on numerous federal, provincial and municipal election campaigns. Immediately prior to joining Counsel, Grant gained experience in government relations at Universities Canada, providing research and analysis support.

Grant is a former member of the Ontario Liberal Party executive, having served as Vice-President, Engagement, and Toronto Region Vice-President. He has also served as a vice-president and board member of the Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre and member of the University of Toronto’s Governing Council.

Outside of politics, Grant worked in fundraising and communications at St. Michael’s College School, where he played a crucial role in coordinating and assisting with major alumni engagement campaigns, fundraising drives and special events.

Grant holds a Master of Political Management from Carleton University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Toronto.
