TORONTO, AUGUST 16, 2019 – Counsel Public Affairs Inc. is pleased to add Patrick Osland as Account Director, Ontario, to its Toronto office.

“Counsel’s leadership in building bridges with all levels of government is exemplary, and I am delighted to join the team. I’m looking forward to helping our clients navigate a complex policy environment and achieve their public affairs objectives,” said Osland.

Prior to joining Counsel, Patrick served in the office of Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. In his roles as Caucus Liaison and Policy Advisor at Queen’s Park, Patrick was the lead on Caucus Relations, while also working on changes to the Ontario Nominee program and the government red-tape reduction efforts.

Jason Kenney at Citizenship and Immigration. Patrick also worked for the City of Ottawa in the office of a deputy city manager.  He has been active in campaigns for conservative candidates in federal, Ontario and Alberta elections, including the successful federal election campaign in 2011, and the recent Progressive Conservative victory in Ontario in 2018.

“We’re thrilled to have Patrick join our expanding team. Patrick’s practical experience, conservative roots, strong network, and thoughtful diplomatic approach to problem-solving will be tremendous assets to our clients,” said Caroline Pinto, Counsel’s Managing Principal.
