Kevina Meighan is the Executive Assistant at Counsel Public Affairs, based in Toronto.
With over a decade of experience as an executive professional across government, association, and business environments, Kevina brings extensive expertise to executive office operations, stakeholder relationship management, and strategic coordination.
Prior to joining Counsel, Kevina served as the Manager and Senior Executive Assistant at the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) for eight years, where she provided strategic executive support to the Chief Executive Officer, President, President-Elect, and Past President for one of Canada’s largest professional associations. Kevina also played a pivotal role in leading the organization through the transition of five CEOs, providing continuity, institutional knowledge, and support to senior leadership and volunteer leaders.
She began her career in Belfast, Northern Ireland, working in the public service which included the Chief Executive’s Office at the Department for Communities. This formative experience provided her with a strong foundation in working with senior officials, managing sensitive information, and navigating complex organizational and stakeholder environments.
Her combination of government, association, and industry experience provides a strong understanding of the intersection between leadership, governance, stakeholder relations, and public affairs.
Kevina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE).
