Dylan Topal is a Senior Consultant at Counsel Public Affairs, based in Edmonton.

Bringing nearly a decade of political expertise, Dylan specializes in managing complex files related to provincial government policy.

He has served in a variety of roles in both the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan including working for Ministers’ responsible for Social Services, Seniors, Housing, and Public Safety and Emergency Services. In these roles, Dylan demonstrated his keen ability to align political strategy with the needs and perspectives of Albertans and Saskatchewanians. Prior to joining Counsel, Dylan also served as the Communications Manager for the Edmonton Region of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.

Specializing in internal and external communications, he makes an impact by combining business advancements with community development. Drawing from a proven ability to deliver measurable results, Dylan contributes to business development efforts by building meaningful connections and bridging common interests. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina in Political Science and Government and a Minor in Philosophy.
