As a Consultant at Counsel, Emily supports clients in achieving their communications and government relations objectives.

Moreover, she is experienced in crafting compelling content, orchestrating public relations campaigns, and cultivating connections within the media landscape. During her internship at a boutique law firm specializing in sustainability, Emily participated in research projects focused on the role of local governments in climate change adaptation.

Emily is passionate about gender equity, as demonstrated by her involvement in not-for-profit organizations such as Queen’s Feminist Leadership in Politics (QFLIP) and Sexual Assault Centre Kingston.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Development and Political Studies, as well as a Certificate in Law – both from Queen’s University.
