Felix is an experienced political staffer specializing in legislative affairs and issues management. His experience in senior ministries across the Ontario government helps his clients both navigate and achieve their goals with the provincial government.

Prior to joining Counsel, Felix held a variety of roles in the Ontario government. Beginning in a Member of Provincial Parliament’s office, he managed the parliamentary assistant’s constituent concerns, legislative commitments, and stakeholder meetings. After leaving this role, Felix focused on legislative affairs in the Government House leader’s office. Here, he managed the committees of the legislature, assisted Ministries with major legislation, and collaborated with caucus members throughout the legislative process.

Felix then joined the Ministry of Finance in a senior role for issues management and legislative affairs, where he continued his work of managing a central agency’s concerns and priorities with the agenda of caucus and government. At Counsel, Felix brings his talent in navigating relationships at Queens Park, a keen ability to identify and address contentious issues, as well as effective management tactics. Felix’s breadth of government experience allows him to ensure his clients know who – and where – to go to get their voices and issues heard.

Felix holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from the University of Toronto.
