Rob
Rob is a strategic thinker with a proven political lens that comes from over 15 years of experience working in government and public affairs, including in the Prime Minister’s Office, on Parliament Hill, at Queen’s Park and as a Government Relations Consultant.
Rob has been active at all levels of government. He has advised senior cabinet ministers and government officials, industry associations, charities and both small and large businesses. His experience cuts across multiple sectors, including transportation, health, finance and technology.
As Associate Director of Policy for Ontario’s Minister of Transportation, Rob was responsible for many complex files including road safety, regional transportation planning and transit expansion. On behalf of the Minister, Rob oversaw efforts to support the commercial trucking industry and ensure the continued delivery of essential goods during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rob is recognized for his experience and knowledge on political matters from having served as a Vice-President of the Ontario PC Party for 13 years, including as the Party’s Policy Chair, and was most recently the Ontario PC candidate during a by-election in Kitchener.
Rob attended Wilfrid Laurier University, receiving a BA in political science with a minor in communications and the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, where he is in the process of completing a diploma in Urban Land Economics.
