With the promotion of Patricia Ferreira to Financial & Operations Manager and the addition of Olaide Adeoye as Compliance & Contracts Officer, Counsel is expanding the depth and expertise of its internal operations, ensuring our consultants across the country are supported by a strong, efficient, and compliant organizational backbone.
Patricia Ferreira — promoted to Financial & Operations Manager
Patricia Ferreira is a versatile administrative professional with more than a decade of experience supporting operations, finance, and administrative functions across multinational corporations.
In her role as Financial & Operations Manager, Patricia leads day‑to‑day internal operations for Counsel’s national team: strengthening financial processes, supporting organizational planning, and ensuring the smooth functioning of internal systems firm-wide.

Before joining Counsel, Patricia served as an Office Manager in the oil and gas and insurance sectors, and as a Financial Analyst for a global tech and consulting company and a television network. She brings deep experience managing complex operational systems, coordinating financial processes, and maintaining corporate and client confidentiality.
Born and raised in Brazil, Patricia speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She holds a BA in Business Administration and an MBA in Human Resources Development.
Olaide Adeoye — joins as Compliance & Contracts Officer
With over a decade of experience across banking, financial services, and technology, Ola brings strategic depth and precision to contract management, governance, and regulatory compliance. Her career reflects a strong balance of legal expertise and business insight, enabling her to bridge the gap between policy and practice.
Before joining Counsel, Ola held key roles at two of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, where she managed complex commercial agreements, advised on risk and governance issues, and streamlined contract performance frameworks. In Canada, she advanced her career in corporate compliance and contract negotiation within the technology sector, aligning legal processes with organizational efficiency.

Having built her career across two continents, Ola brings a global perspective and cultural fluency that enrich team dynamics and client relationships alike.
A lawyer by training, Ola holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from the University of Ilorin and a Barrister-at-Law degree (B.L.) from the Nigerian Law School. Ola is known for her collaborative approach, ethical rigour, and commitment to building efficient, transparent, and compliant business practices.
