With decades of experience, Sheena has worked with all levels of government, opposition, the public and not-for-profit sectors.  Her deep knowledge of government and expertise in stakeholder engagement has been demonstrated time and again, most recently as Executive Director of External Relations and Communications at the Law Society of Ontario.  Sheena’s ability to navigate crises and manage tough issues is widely acknowledged, especially in the justice sector.

Sheena thrives on finding solutions to difficult problems and has a unique ability to find common ground with multiple and often competing stakeholders. She’s an exceptional collaborator who has played an integral role in achieving substantial legislative reforms, moving policies forward and establishing lasting coalitions of interest.  Her creative approach has led to many progressive improvements in the regulation of lawyers and paralegals and the justice system more broadly. Passionate about public-interest regulation and access to justice, Sheena has worked on intersectional issues such as housing, poverty, and income security, and always with a diversity and inclusion lens. 

Sheena graduated from Laurentian University and holds executive management certificates from Rotman and Smith schools of business focused on leadership, strategy, and planning.
