With over 25 years of experience in public and government affairs in the resource sector, Bonny puts the “S” in ESG.  She facilitates dialogue and solutions in a broad range of areas including forestry, environment, northern development and Indigenous relations.   

Working with provincial and federal governments, Bonny has been instrumental in implementing practical and durable solutions which support the sector, host communities and regions. For the past 17 years she served as the national Public Affairs executive for one of Canada’s preeminent pulp and paper producers, based in northern Ontario.  

She currently serves as a board member for Forests Ontario and is Chair of the Board for the Port of Thunder Bay, one of the largest export ports on the St. Lawrence Seaway.   

Bonny has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota, and recently completed director designation (ICD.D) from Institute of Corporate Directors through the University of Toronto. In her spare time, Bonny can be found outdoors with her family on the water or in the snow as she is an avid sailor and skier.
