50 years ago, premiers and political leaders from across Canada gathered together for the landmark Confederation of Tomorrow conference. Our Counsel colleague and mentor, Charles Beer, was there, and he recently joined Steve Paikin of TVO’s The Agenda to share his thoughts on the historic significance and continuing relevance of the conference, particularly its relevance and outcome amidst the important constitutional questions that were emerging in Canada at the time.
