Counsel is pleased to welcome Jodee Mason as Senior Account Director, Manitoba.
Jodee is Manitoba’s most seasoned and connected government relations consultant.
With an unprecedented line-of-sight into the dynamics of the new administration, Jodee brings two decades of experience in Media, Strategic Communications, and Issues Management.
Jodee studied journalism in Brandon and quickly climbed the ranks in the Manitoba media industry. She then spent eight years working in Media Relations as Press Secretary to Cabinet and Issues Manager in the Doer and Selinger NDP governments where she honed her skills as an effective communication advisor and issues manager with a stint in multiple government departments.
She also managed communications for the East Side Road Authority in Manitoba where she established relationships and experience negotiating with First Nations leaders. Jodee joins Counsel after working for one of Manitoba’s largest unions, the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union.
Her work ethic and deep understanding of the decision-making process ensures clients have the support they need to meet their goals.
