Counsel is proud to announce the promotion of Devan Sommerville to Vice President, Ontario Government Relations.
In over eight years with Counsel, Devan has taken on progressively senior roles, consistently providing keen insight and delivering results for our Ontario government relations clients. Building on his strong background in land use planning as a key advisor to two Ontario Ministers of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Devan is integral to Counsel’s thriving land development practice. He continues to advocate on behalf of a diverse range of clients across many sectors, including housing, infrastructure & construction, health care, environment, culture, and the emerging and innovative economy.
Devan is also an instrumental part of Counsel’s ongoing and growing attention on fulfilling the surging demand for Indigenous Engagement services.
