Counsel Promotes Communications & Campaigns Team Members
Counsel is proud to announce two well-earned promotions within Counsel’s Communications & Campaigns practice – Natalie Dewan to Senior Account Director and Emily Binkley to Senior Consultant.
Natalie Dewan — promoted to Senior Account Director
Since 2022, Natalie has supported Counsel’s clients with a wide array of communications needs, from preparing clients for media engagements to coordinating large-scale corporate events and building impactful public relations campaigns. She has also been a key player on Counsel’s crisis communications team, supporting clients through issues ranging from employee misconduct to systemic racism in healthcare.
“Natalie has been a cornerstone of Counsel’s communications team through a period of great growth and change,” shared Logan Ross, Senior Vice President. “We are proud to recognize her excellent work leading accounts and achieving client success.”
Before joining Counsel, Natalie honed her skills in the non-profit arts sector, managing communications, member relations, program development, and evaluation for several arts organizations.
Natalie welcomed a daughter in 2025; Counsel is excited to celebrate Natalie’s promotion as well as her return from maternity leave.
Emily Binkley — promoted to Senior Consultant
Emily’s promotion recognizes her growth and the strong strategic instincts she brings to Counsel’s communications and public relations work.
“Emily has taken on rapidly increasing responsibility in her time at Counsel,” shared Logan Ross, Senior Vice President. “She has continually proven her ability to build and deliver compelling communications.”
Emily has supported numerous clients in crafting tailored messages for the right audience, executing public relations campaigns, and building meaningful relationships within the media landscape.
Prior to joining Counsel, Emily served as an account coordinator with two public relations and government relations agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Development and Political Studies, as well as a Certificate in Law, both from Queen’s University.
These promotions continue to strengthen Counsel’s capacity to deliver thoughtful, high-impact work and reflect the momentum of our Communications & Campaigns practice.
